The Adventure Begins

This is a re-posted entry from the blog page off the old site, originally written and published September 29, 2021. A lot has happened since then, but this is where it all started.

So here we are.

Due to what seems to be an abnormally large amount of friends and family who dabble in authordom along with my own tentative hubris, I have decided to start a publishing company. I considered editing, I considered writing, and at the end of the day I’ve determined that I want to do a little of everything except quitting my day job. I don’t expect to make my millions from this endeavor, but hope to help a few people in my life who matter to me a great deal in realizing their dreams of bringing their stories to the reading public. If you are a member of that reading public, hello, welcome, please keep your feet off the furniture.

In addition to hopefully bringing some completed novels and series online in the coming years, I also intend to assemble collections of short stories from talented writers who may be attempting the same thing I am, which is to connect stories to the people who want them. If you are here because you’re considering contributing to such a collection, please take this website as proof of my seriousness and credibility. I promise you no fame or fortune, only the hope for mutual benefit and eventual success. I’m not a scammer, a trickster, a fraudster, or 3 dogs in a trench coat. You can trust me. Probably…

I write this now so that the website I’m creating is not devoid of content. I also want to document this moment so that my future self can remember what it was like to start this journey that may end in the stars, or go nowhere at all.
